This privacy policy is intended to inform you as a user of this website about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by us, ppi n3xt GmbH.

We take your privacy very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory provisions. As new technologies and the continuous development of this website may result in changes to this privacy policy, we recommend that you read through the privacy policy again at regular intervals.

1. Access data

We, the website operator, collect data about accesses to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) and store them as “server log files” on the website server. The following data is logged in this way:

  • Visited website
  • Time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference from which you came to the site
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 1 year and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. to be able to clarify cases of abuse. If data must be retained for evidentiary reasons, it is exempt from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.

 

2. Range measurement and cookies

This website uses cookies for pseudonymized range measurement, which are transmitted to the user’s browser either by our server or the server of a third party. Cookies are small files that are stored on your terminal device. Your browser accesses these files. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness and security of this website.

3. Collection and processing of personal data

You can also visit this website without providing any personal information. However, in order to improve our online services, we store (without personal reference) your access data to this website. Handling of contact data

Dealing with comments and contributions

If you leave a contribution or comment on this website, your IP address will be stored. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO and serves the security of us as website operator: because if your comment violates applicable law, we can be prosecuted for it, which is why we have an interest in the identity of the comment or post author.

 

4 Matomo

We use the service “Matomo” due to our legitimate interests in optimizing and analyzing our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO the service “Matomo”, which is offered by InnoCraft Ltd (150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, NZBN 6106769). The service (Matomo) uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Matomo server in Germany and stored there, so that technically no third country transfer takes place. Insofar as a data transfer to InnoCraft’s company headquarters to outside the EEA takes place, this is secured by an EU adequacy decision for New Zealand.

We have set Matomo in such a way that IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to limit direct personal reference. Through IP anonymization, the end of your IP address is replaced by zeros directly after collection.

As part of the agreement on the order data agreement, which we as website operators have concluded with Matomo, the latter uses the information collected to create an evaluation of website use and website activity and provides services associated with Internet use.

The data collected by Matomo on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online offering by individual users, e.g. to create reports on website activity in order to improve our online offering.

5. Use of the Facebook pixel

Furthermore, due to our legitimate interests in optimizing and analyzing our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO the so-called “Facebook Pixel”, which is offered by Facebook Inc. (1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, USA). With the use of the Facebook pixel, we pursue the purpose of displaying Facebook ads placed by us only to those users who also have an interest in our offer. In addition, we can use the Facebook pixel to track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical purposes and see whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad.

This allows the users of our website to be informed of the content of our website in the context of visiting the
Facebook social network or other websites that also use the procedure can be shown interest-based advertisements (“Facebook ads”). Through the Facebook pixel, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Facebook server.  Through the integration of the Facebook pixel, Facebook receives the information that you have clicked on an ad from us or have called up the corresponding website of our Internet presence. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will learn and store your IP address and other identifying features.

6. Use of the LinkedIn Insight Tag

Furthermore, due to our legitimate interests in optimizing and analyzing our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO the so-called “LinkedIn Insight Tag”, which is offered by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Wilton Place,
Dublin 2, Ireland) is offered. With the use of the LinkedIn Insight tag, we pursue the purpose of displaying LinkedIn ads placed by us only to those users who also have an interest in our offer. In addition, with the help of the LinkedIn Insight tag, we can track the effectiveness of LinkedIn ads for statistical purposes and see whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a LinkedIn ad.

7 Leadfeeder

We use the “Leadfeeder” service on the basis of our legitimate interests in optimizing and analyzing our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f. DSGVO the service “Leadfeeder”, which is offered by Liidio Oy (Mikonkatu 17 C, 00100 Helsinki). The service (Leadfeeder) uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Leadfeeder server in Europe and stored there, so technically there is no third country transfer.

Leadfeeder accesses the list of IP addresses of website visitors provided by Google Analytics in the evaluation and links the list of IP addresses with information about the companies that can be found on the Internet under these IP addresses. Due to the shortening of the IP address of the website visitors, which is already carried out when using Google Analytics, a direct personal reference is not established. Only company visitors can be assumed.

8. Rights of the user

If you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

Deletion of data

Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. data retention), you have a right to have your data deleted. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no legal retention periods. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case, the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes.

Right of objection

Users of this website may exercise their right to object to the processing of their personal data at any time.

8. Contact form

Our website has a contact form. You can use it to send us messages. Your voluntary entries are technically sent to us as an e-mail.

The personal data that you provide to us as part of this contact request will only be used to respond to your inquiry or contact and for the associated technical administration. It will not be passed on to third parties. Your personal data will be deleted once we have processed your request.

Our website uses SSL encryption when transmitting confidential or personal content of our users.

 

9. Online applications

If you apply to us online, your application documents are transmitted to us securely, stored in our internal application system and not forwarded to third parties. Applications received by e-mail will be deleted after 6 months of storage.
